PLANT CARE

• Growth habit: climber, eaves will become larger if allowed to climb up a totem or structure.

• Water: allow to dry slightly between waterings

• Temperature: 60-75ºF/16-24ºC (cold sensitive)

• Potting medium: High quality, chunky aroid mix, fast draining soil

LIGHT Philodendron 'Imperial Green' can stand with low light conditions, but grows better and produces more leaves if placed in bright indirect light. No direct sunlight–the sun will burn the foliage.

WATER Water your Philodendron well and allow the top half of the soil to dry before the next watering. Yellow leaves is a sign of overwatering, brown leaves can indicate the plant needs more water.

HUMIDITY Average household humidity is fine for this Philodendron, but higher humidity encourages larger leaves.

TEMPERATURE Your Philodendron will grow well in temperatures between 65-80 degrees during the day and above 55 degrees at night. Keep it away from drafts, especially during the winter months.

FOOD Feed your Philodendron monthly in the spring and summer with a basic houseplant food diluted to half the recommended strength. Fertilize every other month in the fall and winter months.
