Philodendron Radiatum in 4" pot 🍃. Our Philodendron are grown outdoors to maximize growth. As a result there can be minor blemishes or leaf imperfections present. These in no way affects the overall health of the plant. ♨️ Please add a heat pack to your cart from our shop listing when ordering plants if shipment is going anywhere that is 50 degrees and below. PLANT CARE • Growth: vining / trailing • Potting medium: High quality fast draining soil ☀️ LIGHT Your Philodendron can survive in low light but grows faster in medium to bright indirect light. They do not do well in direct sunlight since the sun will burn the foliage. 💦 WATER Philodendron like their soil to be kept on the drier side. Water enough to keep the soil slightly damp. During the spring and summer, water well and then allow the top 50% of the soil to dry out before watering again. In the fall and winter, let the soil become drier before watering. 🚿 HUMIDITY This plant will do well in low humidity environments but will thrive with a bit more humidity. Brown leaf tips may indicate the air is too dry. 🌡 TEMPERATURE Your Philodendron prefers average to warm temperatures, 65-85 degrees. 🌱 FOOD The Philodendron is such an easy indoor plant, and you don’t need to worry about fertilizing this one a lot. Feed it every 6 months with a general-purpose indoor plant fertilizer. 🌿 ADDITIONAL CARE Trim out any dead, discolored, damaged, or diseased leaves and stems as they occur. Use clean, sharp scissors to avoid tearing or bruising the stems. Snip stems just above a leaf node. If you wish to keep your plant full and bushy, trim the longer vines every few months. ☠️ TOXICITY Philodendron is mildly toxic to pets and humans. Typically, ingestion will cause mouth and stomach irritation and possible vomiting. You may not receive the exact plant pictured but one of similar size and fullness. **PLEASE NOTE: The plant will need time to adjust to your environment. Initial cosmetic issues such as browning tips or leaves yellowing can occur. These are results of stress from transit & the shipping process. Some damage can occur during transit – this is normal. With the proper care your plant will soon outgrow any shipping damage that may have occurred. Familiarize yourself with your new plants requirements and be prepared to provide them with the proper light, humidity, and water upon arrival. Before shipping, all of our plants are inspected and photographed. Your new plant's pot is then bagged to ensure that the soil stays in the pot and not loose in the box. Plants are wrapped in kraft paper to protect the foliage and secured in place and cushioned with biodegradable peanuts. Depending on the plant type and/or needs, your plants will be shipped in a nursery grow pots or unpotted, bare root, and wrapped in sphagnum moss for shipping. 📫 📦 If you are experiencing poor weather in your area or are out of town and need your package held until a future ship date please send us a message. We can not replace any items without proper photo documentation nor can we replace plants after they have been in your care as we cannot control the growing conditions after they leave our care. We DO accept cancellations before a shipping label is purchased. Your plants are all photographed in the box before we ship out so that the leaf condition and packaging method is documented.
